How to apply.
Five steps. Rolling applications throughout the year. The selection cycle closes 30 September annually — earlier submissions get evaluated first.
Apply when you're ready.
This is a small, selective programme. Each year, the Curriculum Committee announces the application cycle in March, with documents reviewed in the order they arrive and the cycle closing on 30 September.
Applying early is not a competitive advantage in itself — but it does mean a longer evaluation window, more time for interview scheduling, and more time to arrange your visa and relocation if accepted.
Five steps from interest to enrolment.
Confirm eligibility
Check your high school qualification, country of study, English level and subject background against the formal entry requirements. Most international applicants from EU and non-EU countries are eligible if their qualification entitles them to higher education in their home country.

Seven items, all in English. Translations of your high school diploma and transcript must be official. If you don't yet have certified translations, plan two to three weeks for this step alone — it's often the slowest part of the process.
View document checklist ↓Submit your application
Submit electronically through the Programme portal. A €150 file management fee is paid at this point — non-refundable, regardless of outcome. You'll receive an acknowledgement email within 24 hours and your application enters the evaluation queue in the order received.
Selection
The Curriculum Committee reviews your file, then invites shortlisted candidates to an online interview that assesses communication, reasoning, and general understanding of environmental issues. The Committee may also set a knowledge test in some cycles, on subjects announced in advance.
Acceptance & enrolment
Successful candidates pay a €1,000 deposit and complete enrolment. Tuition is then paid in ten instalments of €3,000 across the five-year programme — the first at enrolment, the rest at the start of each subsequent semester.
Seven documents.
Everything we need to evaluate your application. All documents in English; translations of your high school diploma and transcript must be official, with apostille, notarisation, or direct verification by the issuing school.
Selection is by file plus interview.
The Curriculum Committee evaluates each candidate's file and supporting documents, then invites shortlisted candidates to an interview. Selection is based on the full picture — academic preparation, motivation, and communication.
All seven documents, on time
Your file is reviewed first. If it meets the minimum legal and Programme requirements, you'll be invited to interview. The interview assesses communication and reasoning skills, academic and personal readiness, and general understanding of environmental issues.
In some cycles, a knowledge test may also be set — subjects and dates announced in the cycle's call for applications.
Strong subject preparation, where present
- High school diploma ≥ 65% of max
- International Baccalaureate (IB) ≥ 28 / 45
- GCE A-levels ≥ BBB in 3 subjects
- Advanced Placement (AP) Grade 4 or 5
- SAT ≥ 1000 / 1600
- ACT ≥ 24 / 36
These are not minimum requirements — the file is evaluated as a whole, and strong performance in any of these areas counts in your favour. Particular emphasis is given to performance in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
What it actually costs to apply and enrol.
Tuition is €30,000 total — €6,000 per academic year, paid in ten instalments of €3,000. Below are the fees that apply specifically to applying and accepting a place. Up to three full-tuition scholarships are awarded each year based on the selection process.
