How to apply.

Five steps. Rolling applications throughout the year. The selection cycle closes 30 September annually — earlier submissions get evaluated first.

Applications are submitted electronically throughout the year — and reviewed in the order received.

Before you start

Apply when you're ready.

This is a small, selective programme. Each year, the Curriculum Committee announces the application cycle in March, with documents reviewed in the order they arrive and the cycle closing on 30 September.

Applying early is not a competitive advantage in itself — but it does mean a longer evaluation window, more time for interview scheduling, and more time to arrange your visa and relocation if accepted.

The process

Five steps from interest to enrolment.

01

Confirm eligibility

Check your high school qualification, country of study, English level and subject background against the formal entry requirements. Most international applicants from EU and non-EU countries are eligible if their qualification entitles them to higher education in their home country.

Plus subject passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, and English at CEFR B2 or above.
02

Prepare your documents

Seven items, all in English. Translations of your high school diploma and transcript must be official. If you don't yet have certified translations, plan two to three weeks for this step alone — it's often the slowest part of the process.

What the Committee evaluates

Selection is by file plus interview.

The Curriculum Committee evaluates each candidate's file and supporting documents, then invites shortlisted candidates to an interview. Selection is based on the full picture — academic preparation, motivation, and communication.

Required for evaluation

All seven documents, on time

Your file is reviewed first. If it meets the minimum legal and Programme requirements, you'll be invited to interview. The interview assesses communication and reasoning skills, academic and personal readiness, and general understanding of environmental issues.

In some cycles, a knowledge test may also be set — subjects and dates announced in the cycle's call for applications.

Considered positively

Strong subject preparation, where present

  • High school diploma ≥ 65% of max
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) ≥ 28 / 45
  • GCE A-levels ≥ BBB in 3 subjects
  • Advanced Placement (AP) Grade 4 or 5
  • SAT ≥ 1000 / 1600
  • ACT ≥ 24 / 36

These are not minimum requirements — the file is evaluated as a whole, and strong performance in any of these areas counts in your favour. Particular emphasis is given to performance in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
