Administrative support.

The Foreign Student Support Unit is responsible for the support of foreign students of the Joint Undergraduate Programme in Environmental Sciences and Engineering, in accordance with the applicable institutional framework.

Foreign Student Support Unit.

The mission of the Support Unit is to assist foreign students enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of the University.

In particular, the responsibilities of the Foreign Student Support Unit include:

  • Providing information and support to foreign students regarding studies, academic procedures and student life.
  • Offering guidance on issues related to residence permits and communication with the competent public authorities.
  • Supporting procedures concerning the accelerated granting of residence permits for study purposes.
  • Assisting students during their settlement and adaptation in the country.
  • Cooperating with competent University services and external authorities.
  • Organizing educational and informational activities related to student support and integration.
  • Carrying out any additional responsibilities assigned by the University concerning the support of international students.

Administrative support of the Programme.

The School of Physics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, having long experience in the organization and implementation of international study programmes, undertakes the overall administrative and technical support of the Joint Undergraduate Programme in Environmental Sciences and Engineering.

The Secretariat of the Programme is responsible for the daily administrative operation and support of students and academic staff.

More specifically, the Secretariat is responsible for:

  • Administrative support of the Programme Committee and Director.
  • Student support regarding enrolment, certificates, academic records and general academic procedures.
  • Communication with participating Schools, teaching staff and University services.
  • Coordination of academic schedules, examinations and programme procedures.
  • General administrative and organizational support for the effective operation of the Programme.
